Privacy is the product. Here's how we handle what little data we see.

1. Overview

Torzon Market is a darknet marketplace running as a Tor onion service. By design, we see very little about you. You access the market through Tor, which hides your IP address. You register with a username and a PGP public key — no email, no phone, no name. Your communications with vendors are PGP-encrypted end-to-end, and we can't read them. This policy explains what little data we do process and how we handle it.

2. Information we collect

We collect the minimum needed to run the market. Here's the full list:

  • Account data: Username, PGP public key, account creation date, login timestamps. No email, no phone, no real name.
  • Transaction data: Order details, escrow amounts, cryptocurrency addresses used for deposits and withdrawals. Transaction history is stored encrypted at rest.
  • Usage data: Session tokens, preference settings (language, theme), cart contents. No IP addresses are logged — Tor hides them from us anyway.
  • Device data: We don't fingerprint browsers. We don't load JavaScript by default. We don't track screen size, fonts or other fingerprinting vectors.

3. How we use your information

We use account data to authenticate you and recover your account if you lose access. We use transaction data to process orders, manage escrow and resolve disputes. We use usage data to keep you logged in during a session and remember your preferences. We do not use any data for advertising, analytics or profiling — we don't run ads and we don't sell data.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

Torzon Market uses a single session cookie to keep you logged in. The cookie is cleared when you close your Tor Browser session. We don't use tracking cookies, analytics cookies or third-party cookies. If you disable cookies in Tor Browser, you can still browse listings — you just won't stay logged in between page loads.

5. Sharing with vendors and partners

We share transaction details with the vendor you're buying from — that's how orders work. Your shipping address or digital delivery details are sent PGP-encrypted directly to the vendor; we don't see the plaintext. We don't share data with any third parties, analytics providers or advertising networks. A current list of partners is published on the vendors page.

6. Data retention

Transaction data is retained for 90 days after order completion for dispute resolution purposes. After 90 days, transaction records are automatically purged. Account data is retained as long as your account is active. If you close your account, your data is purged within 30 days. We don't keep backups of purged data.

7. Your rights and choices

You have full control over your data on Torzon Market:

  • Access your data: Export your transaction history and account details at any time from your profile.
  • Delete your data: Close your account and all associated data is purged within 30 days.
  • Withdraw consent: Stop using the market. We don't have your real identity, so there's no way to link your account back to you once it's closed.
  • Use PGP: All sensitive communication is PGP-encrypted. We can't read it, and neither can anyone else who doesn't have your private key.

8. Security

Torzon Market runs on distributed infrastructure with no single point of failure. All data at rest is encrypted. All communication is end-to-end PGP-encrypted between buyers and vendors. Withdrawals require manual confirmation and a PGP-signed request. We don't store private keys. We publish periodic PGP-signed proof of reserves so users can verify that escrow funds are where we say they are.

9. Children's privacy

Torzon Market is strictly for adults 18 and older. We don't knowingly allow minors to use the market. Listings involving minors or CSAM are prohibited and removed immediately — vendors who attempt to list such material are permanently banned and their bond is forfeited.
